Islam means "Eeman" - faith. Muslims believe whatever they hear from others, like religious leaders, teachers, parents even friends. They don't even think for a moment whether it could be true or not. The moment they here something from somebody saying that Allah has said in Holy Quran or Nabi (pbuh) has said in Hadeeis, they just believe it on bona fide.
Anybody with long beard and wearing a cap does not get messages (wahi) from Allah the Creator. So please clarify the authenticity when somebody say something about Islam.
